It is in the nature of small grass roots projects that some are funded but make no progress at all. Other projects either fail or interest is lost and they are discontinued. Some projects are continually being re-invented. This means that funds allocated to a particular project may occasionally be transferred to another project. However, we will only do this in exceptional circumstances.

Our success rate is good and we remain really optimistic but getting projects to properly account for funds sent to them is a constant challenge. We generally remit funds (usually via a Western Union transfer) because, as a small charity, we do not have the means to send large quantities of donated goods and materials overseas. Our ‘happy’ boxes are an exception.

We hope you find something of interest. If you would like to help in anyway do please get in touch because we would love to hear from you.
