The centre has also benefited from a donation from the U.K. Chair (Mr Michael Ashton) to buy school text books. This programme has also been supported from funds that were raised at the awareness night held in the U.K. This has made a big difference to the many students from various schools that visit, especially at times of exams and research. A donation was also approved by the U.K. so they could build an outside shelter where visitors could meet and enjoy. Chess boards have also been acquired so the Chess Club could re-establish itself. The Centre has also registered with the Government library in Mzuzu (49Km away) which will help them source new books and contacts.
